How I Started:
I started working out in high-school on a program for the hockey team. Once I graduated and started playing junior hockey I realized the importance of training to improve in my sport along with being an overall healthy individual.
Why I Love It:
Keeps my life stress free. It also feels good to see myself grow and become stronger on the ice. I love it when I get compliments, that always makes me feel like I'm progressing even when I personally don't see it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of every time I get knocked off my feet in hockey and want to get bigger, stronger, and faster.
BB Accomplishments:
Gaining 10 pounds of muscle over summer 2008.

First picture I've taken of progress
Winter break before going back to school. Still just over 160 Lbs. Haven't put on any weight in awhile but feel like I added a little definition the past 3 weeks. Next time I take a progress pic will probably be in the spring.
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
I just did what people told me and didn't figure out what worked best for my body. My knowledge of exercises was little to none and I'm sure that my form was atrocious... but no one starts out mistake-free.I just did what people told me and didn't figure out what worked best for my body. What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Patience is key. Hard work and patience will produce results.

What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
The guy or gal that makes small talk while you're obviously in the middle of a workout
Well, just got done with my sixth straight day of intense training for hockey tryouts. We skated for 2 and a half hours this morning while 95% of the other college students here were probably asleep, hungover, etc. from a friday night out. Yesterday I made it through first cuts onto to a list...
I like it a lot. If you don't mind swallowing a few bigger pills it's great. I usually take a little more calcium during snowboarding season but other than that it's got everything I need.
Can't beat that home cookin! My break's over next week, I had actually been in FL for the past two so.. it's nice to be back home and get back to my routine. Good luck with your goals and everything!
Everything has been going great here man. I can now get back into the swing of things now that the holidays are over. Time to go at it now man! Keep me informed on your progress and good luck with hockey bro.
