When I Started:
Apr, 2007
How I Started:
I started getting old!! I had always wanted to reach the 190 pound mark, but wow I had no idea that it would look that bad on me. So I started shifting the weight around. Then I lost it...ALL of it, ha ha. Looked horrible, again!! SO I figured I should do something productive and walked into a gym on COB SPEICHER in Tikrit Iraq, that was almost two years ago, I started by going every day, didn't think twice about not going. Then I realized that my diet was hurting more than helping. I think I have the right formula now, as I have gained 6 pounds in 10 days, with no fat!!! At this rate I will reach 200 by September try to rip it up. I have set the goal for October 1st and will do whatever it takes to reach it!
Why I Love It:
It keeps me out of trouble. GIves me a reason to listen to music really loud and not have to speak to anyone!! I talk to people all day for 12 to 14 hours 7 days per week, GET AWAY FROM ME!! HA HA, just jokin'
How I Stay Motivated:
It is a love an addiction, I am a lot smaller than most of the guys in the gym, they motivate me, although I go to the gym every day, they do as well, I will never catch up to them and always feel small, in comparrison. When I leave the gym or go on holidays, that is when I really see the results
BB Accomplishments:
I have just taken it to the next level!!!

You can judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them.
When I return from this next vacation, I will focus more on legs, forearms and calves. Abs are always a focus and a never ending battle for me. I will probably cut my cardio back, to just cardio, lol. It will be six months straight in the gym 5 of wh
Goal (Long):
I am currently benching 85 lb dumb bells, my goal will be 100 lb dumb bells by October 1st!!
Leg extentions are at 10 reps of 250lbs will have to go to 20 reps as there isn't anymore weight on the stack.
Leg curls are only at 165 lbs will work towards the 215 mark for the same date.
Seated cable row is 210lbs I will move to free weights and upright rows hopefully hitting 215.
I do cardio now on the bike, pushing out a minimum of 85 RPMS for 30 minutes on the hill selection at level 12, barely getting 3.2 minute miles. I have never done this before so I will set the goal once I figure out what my intensity max is.
I look at that last goal and laugh. I set the bike to cardio now, enter that wonderful age in the bike now tells me to keep up as I am now at 115 - 120 RPMS for 17.4 miles in 30 minutes!! love this $h1t
Keep up or get passed by, right?
I have a long way to go, but, I wold like to have that body that looks perfect, to make this easier I have recently ordered the program from the American Council on Excercise, in hopes to educate myself and perfect the workouts. Once I am satisfied with the level I am at, i will further my studies to train others.
Well, here we go again, after two weeks in Bangkok, 17 hours in the tattoo chair and 99 hours of work in during my first week back in the oceanless beach, I have managed to get back in to the gym. Mixed it up a little this time by starting on a Saturday, since the weeekends are less populated...
Happy New year,
I'm trying to eat clean for the month to see the effects it has on my phsyique, I've never done it and don't know where to start, suggestions?
Hey Brent - that's hysterical (Santa calling you 'Sir'). All is going well here but haven't been as disciplined as I would have liked to have been during Christmas, but am back into it today thank goodness. I wish you the best for 2009 and thanks for your b/space friendship during 2008!
I bet-those night workouts are for the birds! Ok-don't shoot me Brent but I turn into a pumpkin in 10...damn...when are we going to make the time zones work??? lol
Awesome! I've been laying around w/my laptop & coffee all morning-lol! I'm heading out soon to take my son to basketball practice & then I'm hitting legs today-woohoo!!!
awesome!! I am inspired by people like you who are dedicated and always searching for more. If you need any supplements to help you on your new program, I just joined up with Team Cellucor and can send you some samples. Just let me know. Oh, and keep my posted on your progress. I want to know how it goes!! :)
Brent, no problem. I hope it helps! The general rule of thumb is that smaller muscles (arms, shoulders) need less recovery time than larger muscles, so rather than having a plan monday-shoulders and legs (for example), you cycle body parts so that you are hitting them again as soon as they recover, forcing the maximum growth in each muscle group.
