I used to be an ops manager for 24 Hour Fitness and figured I may as well use the free membership when I found out I was over 23% BF. I got more interested in fitness as I learned more anatomy while getting my degree in Massage Therapy.
Why I Love It:
Seeing myself get closer to each goal and the increased self confidence that accompanies it. Feels great to be in the best shape of my life!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing all the unfit people around and hoping that I can motivate them to find fitness. I have little tolerance for apathy toward unfit living. I never want to be the person I left behind. My new lifestyle has brought me more happiness than anything else and I hope others will find the same. Most importantly, I especially love training with my wife GeminiJedi, aka my "Life Spotter"
BB Accomplishments:
-Breaking 200lbs (3/4/08)
-Gaining 52lbs of lean mass in 2 Years (164@24% to 204@13%)
Forum Signature:
"Given that manual labor plays such a minimal role in most peoples' lives, its laughable that the idea of overtraining even comes up. Also, many confuse fatigue with overtraining or undernourishment. Don't confuse overtraining with fatigue brought on by poor diet, poor sleep habits, or even the psychological process of not being comfortable with working hard." - John Davies, T-Nation

Few months before I started to workout. I was ~162lbs and ~23% bodyfat.
Yes, I do indeed have a picture of Ava Cowan in my kitchen!
C6 Goal: Increase 3 rep max strength for bench, deadlift, and barbell hacks all by 15% (Start: Bench 1x275, Deads 3x455, Hacks 5x335. GOALS: Bench 3x275, Deads 3x520, Hacks 3x385)
Goal (Long):
Eventually I'd like to reach 225lbs at less than 8% BF. My Perpetual Goal is to convince more ladies that want to "just tone up" to train like builders!
Most of the Tribulus products out there aren't effective for a few reasons. First, some aren't extracts so you're not really getting the best part. Another factor is what region the plant grew in since the soil affects the profile of saponins in it. Anyhow... Assuming you get one of the ones...
Hey Trix!! Awww I'll write one today!! I am sore as hell and its definatly worth sharing!! I've been sooo busy with the Casino opening too tho that I just havent had a whole lot of extra time yet! How are you and GJ doing??
I missed the benching video. It is no longer on your page. Nothing wrong with setting the bar a little higher. BCAA's have really helped my recovery. I sip on Scivation Xtend during the day. It is a little expensive but everything comes with a price. $90/month is cheap! I go through about 2 large tubs a month. Watermelon flavor is my favorite.
Depending on my bodyfat, anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks. Could be as little as 8 to 10 if I stay with my current clean eating. I ate a few too many cookies over the holidays ;) Looking forward to attending the Arnold Classic the first week of March for a boost of motivation. What are you up to on bench press? Adding 15% to that 455 dead lift will be most impressive!!!!
Going to try and stay as lean as possible while eating enough to put on an extra 10 pounds over the next 4 to 5 months (hopefully) before I start cutting for a contest in October. I may have reached my peak this bulking phase though. Time will tell!
I agree dude ... I was a bit disappointed when I realized that there was only the comment section for interaction. I'll throw open a forum thread here in the next day or two. One thing more I noticed is that once someone is in the group, there is not a way to bump them out if they get weird, which was a surprise too.
Hiya, been REALLY bad, just lost motivation since i went on hols, eating all kinds of crap and not working out - PILED the weight back on - now im bakc on track and heading back for the gym - wish me luck! how have you been doing?
I have the same happen after leg day ... when I first wake up my low back is telling me like, "uh oh!" but after an hour or two it evaporates. I'll have to consider easing back into some deads in the coming weeks. Looking forward to C6. Do you want to set that up when the time comes, or should I? Your call. Have a good New Year holiday bro.
