Started lifting in college by enrolling in Weightlifting 101. Got tired of being tall and painfully thin. Didn't get serious about it as a lifestyle until I moved to Connecticut
Why I Love It:
It's very fulfilling to challenge myself to improve and change how I look. On a fundamental level, the discipline extends to other aspects of my life. I like being about to feel resistance from weights and have my body overcome its limitations.
How I Stay Motivated:
That's been and continues to be a struggle to remain motivated. Attending competitions and talking with the competitors has really bolstered my enthusiasm.
BB Accomplishments:
Transforming my body from a 6'3-1/2" tall, 138 lbs person into a more muscular 184 lbs. I was at my heaviest at the end of May 2007, at 193 lbs. 200 lbs HERE I COME!

8 to 12 reps per set, although I used to go much lower. The middle range of reps seems to stimulate more muscle growth in my body than the previous low range I was using of 4 to 7 reps.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I rest about a minute between most sets as just enough to catch my breath and hit the weights, again. For more involved exercises like squats, I take about 2-3 minutes rest.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Ryan Reynolds' body represents an ideal for the male physique. He's not overly muscular, but is well developed and symmetrical. Chris Evans would be a similar body-type.

Current status
After spending time in deep thought over my bodybuilding successes, thus far, and desired goal, I've concluded that a new plan and approach is necessary in preparation to hit the stage in 2010. I'd like to do the same contest, only push myself up into the next higher...
i loved doing the show and am looking at doing another one in 2010. i am going to take a full year and bulk to about 205 to 215 some were in there. anyways its more or less got me hooked and i love living the life style.
I always keep workout log, but I try memorize what i have do for each day, and modify this daily, and note what i changed and how I looked and felt. And my diet I measure everything! This is important. very! That way, you do not overeat, and can still grow and keep lean.
You looking good man.. Do not worry.. Just train... and study, and ask questions until you make us sick, and then ask some more! haha..
peace.
