When I Started: Aug, 2005
How I Started: I started going to the gym with a buddy of mine when we were getting deployed in 2005. We continued working out while we were oversees, and a year later when when we returned home we continued our workout routine after we opened up a membership at our nearest gym. We have been going to the gym ever since.
Why I Love It: It's great, it does wonders for the body and soul.
How I Stay Motivated: i remind myself i'm doing this to go to the police academy in 2010
BB Accomplishments: In the past I have done pulls ups without assistance. Yeah!!

because you know they will be at the gym waiting for you. It's good to have a gym partner because if you forget to bring something you can borrow from them.

 My arm is doing much better i'm hoping to take this thing off by my next doctors appt which is on the 7 of january. Well at least that's what i'm hoping for i mean i can move my arm now. I've been streching my arm (doing bicep curls) trying to get the full range of motion back in my arm ...

I'm doing fine, just got busy in finding a job, traveling here and there. Once I'm settled down I'll be back to the Gym, hopefully!! Watch out next time!! as it is said safety 1st! hope ur injury has been healing very well.. c ya more solid next time!!

what happened??!! You can work your lower body as much as you want, but even leg extensions require hands a little bit. How about leg press?

Cool, i haven't had any injuries yet thank goodness so no tips available :( My hubby has plates in his arm where he had a ATV accident about 2 years ago and he struggles with lifting too much weight. He will eventually need surgery.
