When I Started: Jan, 2005
How I Started: i got started when i saw a photo of myself and thats when i realized how much weight i had gained, so i did something about it but i wanted to do it the right way with a healthy diet and exercise! i 've already done every 'wrong' way and was never happy, so i wanted to it and do it 'right'!
Why I Love It: when i first started working out...i hated it! i only did it because i HAD to, it was a chore but then it really developed into a true passion. i love going to the gym...its my favorite part of the day! i look forward to it---my 'me' time! training has given me so much strength (mentally and physically) that i never knew i could have. i feel good about myself for the first time in my life. it gives me the confidence in myself and pure happiness with who i am!
How I Stay Motivated: my motivation is seeing the results and progress that i have made...i never want to go back to the person that i was before. i have never looked or felt so good in my whole life! even if i'm having a bad day and life is getting me down, i know i will feel better if i just go to the gym. it keeps me sane in a crazy world :)

Goal (Long): i'm very happy with the progress i've made but i will never be satisifed, i always have a drive and passion for more! i have already changed my life, i'm the most fit and most healthy i have ever been and i want to inspire others to do the same! the self confidence that training has given me, cannnot be measured! i did a photo shoot and a figure competition, it was so empowering and made me know i can do anything and to not let fears hold me back! for the first time in my life i found something that i really love and by finally stepping on stage...a place i feel like i belong! i can't wait to continue to compete and improve myself each day. i hope that i can in a small way change the image of punk rock chicks...we can have tattoos/piercings and still be athletic, fit and healthy! i am going to make my all dreams a reality! i have stepped out of my box...and i dont ever want to go back in :D

my new training program is a 3 day split. i am doing a 3 day on---1 day off routine. i have good symmetery, so i am focused on gaining muscle...looking for overall thickness!

oh i hope you have better luck than me when that time comes ;) hehe... i would have laid money that i'd be SUPER healthy about it... but it's like so many of the "restrictions" were removed... i swear it was 6 months before i started to make sure i ate lunch AND THEN if i had room, treats! hehe... it's funny cause i put on most of my weight right away and now it's slowed down a lot though i hear warnings that it picks back up... help me Lord!!! haha
