"I have given the super-athlete ring (power rings better than capes) to mdrane for the moment. I'm busy being super-nerd right now. I'm still in the gym though, being a mere mortal ..."
Well, initially it was to stop being skinny. However, I wasn't necessarily too serious then so well, I stopped being skinny. Then I got a disease and ended up getting fat. After I started feeling my fat rolls, I got disgusted so well, had to do something about it.
Why I Love It:
Its a traditionally, non-academic method of stimulating my brain. I'm a nerd like that though.
How I Stay Motivated:
Realizing that if I don't, I won't look or perform the way I want to. Thats just unacceptable, so I might as well keep at it.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from 125 to 205 in 5-7 years. Talk about awesome. :-)

This is one of the few pics of myself I can find predating 2004. Way back when I was about 175 or so. Before I got fat thanks to prednisone.
Alright, so this is me seriously attempting a cut I guess. I'm on a supp called recreate in this pic. This is day 5 on that supp. Took it for a "before" comparison.
LMAO, I know everything looks the same but my measurements say different. He he, the changes are all ... beats me. ...

Goal (Long):
Actually, I had a big lofty goal in mind originally (230 lbs at 5% bodyfat) but at this point in time, although I'm not there, its not really my goal anymore. 20+ handstand pushups would be pretty cool too. At this point, I guess I'm just trying to lose as much fat as possible without having to make any sacrifices and have it be a simple lifestyle type ordeal.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
No
Why or why not?
I think I'm a bit too private and everyone would ask me why am I not happy with how I am now. I don't want to hear their opinions on what I'm after really even though I know they'd be somewhat supportive. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Take two pictures. What you look like and what you want to look like. Ingrain what you aspire too in your head. Hell, paste it all over the bedroom, fall asleep looking at what you want to look like. Eventually, what you want to look like will become so engraved in your brain that everything you do will be conducive to that goal.Take two pictures. Why I like this video: As much as I like weights, calisthenics are pretty powerful and practical. I don't really believe these guys though because well, I think they have used free weights at some point in their lives.
Fitness From the streets Part 2
Played: 222
Why I like this video: This is actually a pretty bad fitness series, but like I said, calisthenics madness. Most of the people that buy this can't get into position to do a large amount of these movements.
Johnnie Jackson Deadlift
Played: 206
Why I like this video: My favorite exercise performed by one of my fave bodybuilders. Perfect!
AM workout - Done Monday through Friday as time permits.

PM/Weekend Workouts
My workout week is split into two parts. These are:
Another classic pump, my friend! I did arms and I couldn't even put my hand up to my mouth when I was taking my CREAKIC HARDCORE. I have tried aplodan and I liked it. I wasn't pumpin' as hard as am now when I tried it so the results will be better if I try it now.First time trying this creakic, looking to make gains in the next 30 days!
I just started doing more cardio and eating right. At 1st I lost quite a bit of strength while my body adjusted but now I am as strong as I have ever been. Tell me more about the new training your doing. I hope it works out for you.
That is a cool site, I will hang onto that link. As far as working out with someone else, I think that you probably get your ass handed to you because 1) they are used to the routine they put you through, you're not and 2) they are pushing themselves extra hard to intentionally wear you out
I got "scammers" from Clark Howard. I listen to him several times per week on the online show... he comes on after Neal Boortz. I thought about repackaging some personal finance book and marketing to (whatever group routinely throws away hundreds per year on "guaranteed" make money in your sleep infomercial watchers).
Good Idea, I'm pretty comfortable doing extremly heavy lifts on all the hammer strength machines,I find they give you a sick pump, but I always remember to throw in the good old benchpress.
The workout tracker doesn't have "The Hammerstrength Incline Machine" on it. did it on this, Rotator cuffs could never take that poundage on incline for10!,But I still needed to track my lifts. I'll record the lift on my blackberry and upload nxt time. You train today?
"The Millionaire Next Door", a few pages "The Automatic Millionaire" and a few pages from "Rich Dad Poor Dad". Outside of this and even among the authors of these books you'll find tons of redundency.
Yup. I have read "Think and Grow Rich" , but not "Laws of Success". I enjoy educating myself on the topic of personal finance and constantly brainstorming ways to implement the new knowledge into daily practice. I have read a ton of personal finance books and I think that most of the Authors are scammers... in that I feel like ALL personal finace books could be summed up by reading "Think & Grow Rich",
Napoleon Hill was a firm believer of the law of attraction and so am I. That is why I surround myself with optimistic people as best I can as well as people working towards similar goals.
The snow ball to wealth is created with a single snow flake. Give it time and keep your eyes and mind open. Good opportunities make themselves visible to people all the time but only those with a vision have the ability to see it.
Yea. There's a calf routine stuck in there as well, but i've never had the energy to do it 2 hrs later. Read where he said pre-eating is a big part the night before. I can agree with that. 3 scoops of NO is a bare minimum. Oh i forgot, stick 3 x lunges 60r on each leg before LCurlz. I usually work with 135 on my back. For this, I only put on 25lbz and rep out 30.
Yea got that from a recent Branch Warren art in a recent mag: After 3 warm ups of LX (30r), 3 warms of Sq(12r), 3 hvy Sq(12-6r), and then u can do 2 drop sets LP (15 r), and end with 3 LP drops(15r). Before doing 3 sets of 15r of LCurlz, 2 setz of LX, before LX drop(100r!).
Happy Birthday.
Got ur evil right here: Dropsets of 15-30 on Leg Press. Serious Pants Ripping technique.
Well maybe not ripping, but filling out my newest pair of khakis right damn quick.
:(
lol!
