How I Started:
I was gaining weight and my coffee and sugar diet wasn't cutting it!!
Why I Love It:
Many reasons...it feels amazing to accomplish a workout knowing you gave it your all and you will be sore within hours, it can motivate others to see you make a plan and stick to it, and i love to help others, and it feels really weird to feel my arm and realize that, that arm with muscle is really mine... lol!! wow, who would of known...
How I Stay Motivated:
I think there is a part of me that can't wait to see how I will look after 3 years or 5 years of lifting...so that helps. Seeing others transform here on bodyspace, knowing that this sport allows me to be a more active mom to my three children, and of course, my friends, lovejones596, amyrose, my trainer, my workout partner, and many of you on bodyspace.
BB Accomplishments:
No offense, Trophies and placings, though nice, seem secondary...what matters most to me is supporting those that want to make a change in their lives... both spiritually and physically

The beginning of the journey 145 pounds and no muscle.....
Alrighty.... I guess it is time to set the next goal.... guess it is time to see if I have gained sufficient muscle over the last year or so to lean down and get on stage. So, as of the second week of Dec. I begin my diet for an April comp. to be followed up by one in May. After that.......

I'm doing much better and have been getting some pretty good results now that I am thinking fitness 24 hours.. How have you been, taking a break before some pretty exciting new goals for you, that should be so much fun... well I just wanted to reconnect and I hope you are doing well!!..
Thanks...but my trainer has me send him pics every Sunday. So...to make me accountable I am going to post them. I don't want to...but it will help me not cheat so much. I just have this ideal body image in my head....that is where I want to be by x-mas. How is your day going?
i've been ok overall.. i hit a rough patch emotionally a few weeks back and i'm still recovering from it, but it does feel good to be on the mend :) i hope you're enjoying your weekend, my friend =)
Hey, Julie! How are you? Any new competitions coming up? I took a HUGE break from Bodyspace out of sheer laziness...just lifted and ate whatever this past summer and fall...have a renewed zeal to clean up the diet...mostly for my kids (they are CANDY crazy-thank you, halloween). Anyhow, just wanted to say hi. :)
well, i posted some new pics. tell me what you think. i also cheated this weekend...had a fudge peanut butter cup cheese cake in NYC. OMG it was soooo good, but really sweet! LOL
