When I turned 40, it dawned on me that this is probably gonna be my last opportunity to get that coveted 6-pack. So I got off the sofa and the rest is history...
[Plus a very close call with death changed my perspective on life and health.]
Why I Love It:
The adrenaline and resulting healthy and fit body that wife admire - lol!
How I Stay Motivated:
I try not to think about or focus on the actual lifting (otherwise it seems too hard work!). I rather focus on enjoying the tunes I listen too while working out. Love working out to tunes of KUTLESS and RED.
BB Accomplishments:
None, apart from being "transformation of the week" on bb.com. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/transm98 .htm
Forum Signature:
When we wake up in the morning, we have 2 simple choices. Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams. The choice is yours...

Progress Pictures

This is my transformation pic which cover period 2004 to 2007.
Pic taken after my arms session. 83kg @ 8%bf. Happy with overall progress. The 1% extra bf helps me alot to put on some decent muscle size.
Wanna get the bf to 5% or even lower. These muscles must be edged out!
Goal (Long):
Good health is my main meduim and longterm goal. I wanna grow old with my wife and be there for my kid guiding him through some of lifes tough moments.
The muscles is a nice by-product of staying in good health, but it is not my direct aim, nor what drives me.
However, lately I got a couple of fitness shoots and even appeared with a pic or two in some well-known fitness mags. So would not mind my modelling hoby to grow a bit.
But for now, having my wife's eye appreciate my body is kickass nice!
This will give you and overview of my TRAINING and DIET program as well as some GENERAL TIPS I've picked up over the years.
Please note, I am by no way a professional and consider myself a novice in lifting weights. What might have worked for me, might not necessarily work for you. Use what...
Hey. For some reason this profile is not allowing me to update my pictures. Until the problem is fixed, I have made a new account:

Thanks.
Hey man, thanks for the comment! I don't really work on them; I guess curls, rows, and the like give 'em a good workout! How are things? Looking great as usual!

Man are you training in that hat and your jeans. LOL Hope your doing well, I got lucky and missed all the bugs going around. Your still my inspiration for staying heathy and trying to grow. Take care.
It's going good just got my supps, and set up a new diet and rutine so I should reach my goal before I move.
Anyways swimmings great man when I was in highschool I swam and lift right after. I blew up big time. Hope that all works out for you.
Any suggestions on how to maximize my "body transformation"?? I've been at it for about 6 weeks and I'm seeing some improvement, but any suggestions on how to improve faster or more efficiently?? Your progress is definately a big inspiration!

LOL Hope you are well and training is going good! take care of yourself and talk soon! Kimberly
Glad to hear your not sick any more! Swimming huh? I am back to working out myself. I have been incorporating my weights in, the goal is 3-4 days of weight, 6 days of cardio. I did start helping with this thing up at our elementary school. It is called Girls on the move, we teach 3-5th grade girls how to pace themselves when running. It is kind of fun actually. Well, have a great weekend, hope you stay away from those nasty "sick" bugs!
