Late February-early March 2008, I hired a personal trainer because I was afraid of lifting weights. I had NO CLUE, AND NO DESIRE to lift weights, but I knew I needed to tone. Brett has helped me learn to lift weights correctly and I am hooked...simply hooked on lifting..the heavy weights.
Why I Love It:
The body is simply amazing, and we can mold our bodies into a beautiful work of art. I have always wanted to be an artist, but I can't draw or sculpt an object, BUT I can make my body a work of art TO MY LIKING. I can have the body beautiful AND I WILL HAVE THE BODY BEAUTIFUL....and with the help and grace of God and my dogged determination to reach one goal and make another, I will do it! That is why I love bodybuilding...I have gone from the stinkin thinkin that "I think I can" to "I know I can."
How I Stay Motivated:
I always celebrate every gain that I make. I clap for myself, I smile and tell myself good job, I love myself. Each setback that I experience I plan my comeback. But, the thing I LOVE to do most is help motivate people to become their best. I don't have secrets to my success...I share my successes cuz I want you to celebrate, clap for yourself , smile and tell yourself....dang...I am good!
BB Accomplishments:
I can do 3 sets of man pushups...in March I had a hard time doing 8 women pushups.
My core is getting stronger every week, I had the weakest abs in the gym...not anymore.
I am beginning to see cuts....yeah baby

This pic was taken at the very beginning of my diet. I started out with weight watchers.
Still in the muscle building stage. I am managing to stay kinda lean as I pack on the mass. I am 132 in this pic...which is up 2 pounds....and I am clapping cuz my bodyfat is down a few percentages (22%)...so I am packing on some muscle

Goal (Long):
I want to constantly get better with age. I do believe that age is just a number, but it can be more than a number if we let ourselves go. I want to look my best and hopefully motivate my friends and family to follow my example. So if I want to be an example, I need to do what it takes to live and look the part. I want people to say...wow she's forty-three? I always reach my goals! Having a vision is part of the plan, and I can see where I want to be. There are alot of great looking people on this site that will motivate me to be my best. And who knows what's next.
Why I like this video: I LOVE art...all kinds of art. Here are two of my favorite mimes performing to my favorite song. I LOVE THIS SONG, and when I am feeling down and don't know what to do I play this song and it encourages me. This video is my fitness for my mind video.

Yes I agree with you some of the comments you get are Hilarious in a sad sort of way. And youre right they probably dont realize every time they leave one of those it shows up on the home page of Bodyspace.
Since I've started a 6week cyle on Meltdown, I haven't been on Superpump. I've noticed it in my workouts. I'll get back on it once I'm done with 4 more weeks of Meltdown. Superpump really does help me lift heavier.

I kept on track until 2day. Had BBQ chicken, ribs and link sausage...:) After the pleasure, the pain kicks in 2 night...sprints/legs/abs. Leg pressed 410 lbs last night...personal best. Attained bench press of 225 for 7 reps. Feelin' strong and hot tamale! :)
