Was interested in fitness and bodybuilding since I was a kid, but work and other matters kept me in the "recreational lifter" stage for a long time. When I hit my late 40s, realizing I was running out of time, I got serious to reach competition level...
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the personal challenge of improving myself physically while striving to maintain a healthy balance with all other aspects of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Hanging out with buds who are hardcore SERIOUS! And knowing the best is yet to come!
BB Accomplishments:
2nd in 2007 OCB Indiana Masters
3rd in 2007 OCB Indiana Novice Short Class
4th in short class, 40 and over Masters, ABA Natural Indiana, June 2005
Haha I hope so! I eat constantly and alot, so my hope is that my body is just handling the food as best as I could hope! Awesome profile picture btw, the sweep of your lats looks great!
Heaviest weight yet, 188lbs about 9-10%bf. I'm planning on competing again here in about a year. I wanna compete at/around the 170lb mark. I'm not sure what the novice cut offs are for lightweigh, middleweight, heavyweight, etc... So, dunno. We'll see.
Hey Ken, thanks for the comment. -calves always been a strong point for me. So yeah still knocking out the cardio 4/5 days a week. I tried keeping carbs low but man I had no energy so I upped them a bit. I'm sure I take in more than I should but I feel much better during my run/ workout.
hey my friend sorry for the lapse
[studying]as i get in better shape
Im seriously considering competing
but as of now no
but thanks for the vote of confidence!
