My goal changes all the time, but right now, it's to keep getting bigger so that people know I'm a weightlifter, not just another soft, average guy.
Goal (Long):
Right now I'm just trying to eat well and work out as intensly as I can each workout, while progessively increasing my weights. I want to keep gaining muscle so that I look like a weight lifter...not just an average soft guy. I want to look impossibly huge in my daughter's eyes so that she knows when she says "my dad's stronger than your dad," she knows it. Some day, I want to look like Mike Katz did in Pumping Iron where his kid does pullups on his flexed arm.
My brother and I have been following HIT principles from Mike Mentzer's books for our workouts for the last 2 months. As much as I like doing heavier weights, less reps, less sets, and less workouts, I just like working out so I was getting bored and I decided to do some lighter...
Hey thanks for the luck dude. I'm not doing an exact Mike Mentzer HIT style program. I usually do 2-3 sets on each exercise. Usually doing a 8-6-4 rep sequence, and add poundage on each set. I don't have a set exercise plan either really. Like, do some dips one day instead of cable pressdowns for the triceps. So far it seems to be working, in a month I had a half inch on my forearms, 1.5 inches on my shoulders, an inch on my chest, and 3/4 inch on my arms.
Good luck in your journey in the body challenge. What is this 14-day bodysculpting bible book, is it hi volume with reps and low carb diet plan? I am interested if you could enlighten me I would appreciate it. I cant see lossing too much in just 14 days properly.
