Why I Love It:
Old age is going to win eventually but I intend to go down swinging.

YIKES! What a tub of puss I had become! At 248 lbs (my personal best) I decided that everything had to change. Back to the gym. Drastic diet changes are in the works.
Actually this is from four years ago. The wife and I in happier, healthier days. We renewed our vows on our 30th anniversary while in Scotland. This was before the cancer. She is my high school sweetheart. Hoping that she will turn the corner soon and we will once again be able to travel....
Twenty percent of me is GONE!!!! Started at 248lbs and ten months later I was 198 lbs. A loss of 50 lbs or a little over 20% of my starting weight.
Goal (Long):
I have lost 49 lbs from where I started. Not exactly sure of the body fat loss as my only method of measuring is the Onida scale and I'm not convinced of their accuracy.
The mirror is showing great improvement however in every body part. I just have to be cautious about injuries.
Geeze. I have been making such great progress at the gym and have been unwaveringly strick on the diet front, dropping just shy of 50 lbs in 9 months. I have hit the iron with a determination and intensity that would make guys half my age green with envy, and then yesterday I broke a rib in...
Hey hey Hey!!! I am at the gym about to train and thought about you and wanted to say hello and hope you and the family are having fabulous today! Have you already trained today? I am training bis and tris...then running to the airport to pick up my Ma...She went to Kansas to visit my sister...fun fun! I hope traffic isn't to bad...Have a fabulous night!
Hey Sparky! Sorry it's been so long...I have been busy at the gym (which is no excuse not to check in) haha How are you? Did you end up traveling for the Holidays? How is your wife? Much love, have a wonderful day!!! and Happy New Years!!!
Thanks very much. Best wishes to you as well. Good to see you today! Hope all is well with you. Have a wonderful rest of the day:-) Look forward to supporting one another in 2009!
Hey H! Oh, it feels sooo good to be able to workout again! I'm really weak (which is maddening) but at least I don't have the pain while working out now that I did a couple of weeks ago - just some mild discomfort. Now I'm sore from working out! lol. Happy New Year to you, too! Do you make New Year's resolutions? I don't. I just resolve to do something then do it!
Funny.. I was just going to wish you a wonderful and Happy New Year! I am doing fine. Been skiing for a few days and have now to catch up on my upper body training. How are you doing? Monika
Hey Hunter,
Barely survived the Christmas expenses, but got a few pennies left, for food and water..LOL. Actually just trying to achieve some personal goals in my body transformation. As long as I have my wife and God in my life, there is nothing I can not achieve and will be grateful for it all. How bout you bro?
