How I Started:
At 5'10" weighing 220 pounds or so and having to wear a size 38 waist pants, I decided I need to do something right away. If I don't do it now at 53, I never will.
Why I Love It:
The change occurring to my body and health is immeasurable. My energy level is way higher and feeling confident when looking in the mirror.
How I Stay Motivated:
By the results and the input from other people on how much I have changed for the better. Also by the way my wife can not seem to keep her hands off me. She loves the new me!!!!! She is also on this site, doing her thing and loosing weight too. Check her out at Blurosemarie1

Trying to add muscle, while still loosing fat. Need to get a six pack!! (and Im not talking about beer this time!)
Goal (Long):
To have a leaner body, by loosing the extra fat and defining the muscle areas that are hiding somewhere. Being fit will help prevent aches and pains, allow me to do more physically, and live a healthier lifestyle. Besides my wife gives me more attention, which is a good thing!!!! ;-)
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I only ride a stationary computerized bike with different levels of resistant. Though I don't use it any more, since I don't need to loose anymore weight. My fat content is pretty low already.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
I do get some cardio, but it is by keeping my heart rate high during weight lifting as I do not rest as long between sets and different body part training.
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am taking some supplements, which can be found on my profile. I have been taking them for about 3 months now. Last Monday I had a check up at my doctors and found that my blood pressure has gone up to 118 over 92. Six months ago it was 109...

Hey I haven't been on this in a while. I am still working on my small changes. My goal is to be able to sprint 1 lap in 1 min for a corrections test next month. I've been just working on cardio lately but noticed I gained 3 pounds!
I checked out your wife's profile. You are right-- she has made awesome progress and so have you. It gives me hope. My personal trainer/husband's site is mlsimmons. He's trying to kill me!!!
