How I Started: A major mid-20's weight gain. A long-time friend of mine finally made a change in Iraq and there was no way I was gonna sit around being a giant ball of lard after seeing him get results! We've always been competative!
Why I Love It: Currently, it's my escape from reality and humanity. There's something primal about lifting that I connect with. All stress, all worries disappear in it.
How I Stay Motivated: It's become habit more so than anything else. Still, not being fat is motivation enough.

Ugh, what a fatass! This is my first time ever being 240 lb +, NEVER AGAIN!  Well, I promised a pic around here, but it's not quite where I wanted to be... I'm up about 3-4 lbs, and maaaaybe a little leaner in 2-3 months... that's a big gain at this stage. It's all in the legs tho.

Ugh, almost midnight but my 7 pm cardio seems to be keeping me up still (7-8 pm). Well, atleast it's not supplements since those are taken in the day...

Guess it's gotta come 5-7pm after work, or during the day - which will be more of a challenge... or perhaps in a few weeks my body will...
