I have always been a bit husky (the kid who would only get the participation award for presidential fitness testing and nothing else!) ...ha, ha. No one wanted to finish last in the mile by the way - being lapped and then having everyone watch you do the "solo lap of shame" was not cool!
I found out about bodybuilding when I was 12 in Middle School. I helped a friend with a paper route he had since he broke a nieghbor's window and was earning money to pay for it - ha, ha. There was always one home on the route that was constantly throwing out bodybuilding magazines and that was when I became interested when I realized it was possible to change my body and become stronger besides playing sports.
Not too long later in life I wanted to play soccer for High School and was told I should run Cross Country to get in shape for it. High School is when I first started reaching real personal records. My best time in the mile was 5.29 and in the 3 mile 18.59 - Along with Cross Country I did make the soccer team and lettered in indoor track as well. No more "solo lap of shame." ha, ha...
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good for one - I like the energy it gives me and it seems to relax me and put me in a better mood. It is fun having the control and challenge to build my body to the way I want it to be.
How I Stay Motivated:
The gym is kind of like my adult playground where I can compete with myself for self improvement. I stay self-motivativated because I know challenge is what makes success so great. Seeing others with a common goal can motivate me as well - one reason I joined this site.
BB Accomplishments:
BENCH PRESS 225
SQUATS 345
DEADLIFTS 465

Participating in new experiences opens doors - You will never have a chance to discover other intrests or succeed in new endevours unless you try starting something new.
I want to transform my body by gaining muscle and losing fat, but over all I want to live healthier.
Goal (Long):
My goals for now are to keep a good diet, have ample sleep, work out regular, and continue to learn more about bodybuilding. I would like to beat my High School max outs.
Thanx for the complement! Well should be happy. I lost a ton of weight and now I am looking strong and sexy,so there's alot to be happy about! Have a great weekend!
