By the time I was in grade 7, I was a tall, skinny kid. My gym teacher called me "Stretch" and I was the tallest in my class. I didn't like it, and was glad when my dad came home one weekend with a York weight set from Sears.
Why I Love It:
I want to stay healthy, and live a long and happy life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I chart my progress, and keep motivated by the gains I make.
BB Accomplishments:
After many years of on and off training - and on and off gains - I came across periodization method of training. For the first time, I started making some real, consistent gains. And in the following two years I put on 30 pounds of muscle and finally exceeded my goal of 200 pounds of muscle mass.

To regain my size and fitness after a 3 year layoff.
Goal (Long):
Three years ago, I started a new job, had to relocate, and also became a dad. As a result, I found myself without any time to work out... coping to adapt to a new life.
Now, I'm back in Canada, and back to my routine. My plan is to do get my workout back into full swing.
I work out using the Periodization Training methond. First, I started by doing an anatomical adaptation workout for 2 months. Now I'm back to cycling through 6-week Strength and Growth Phases. I intend to increase my lean body mass, and cut my body fat to around 10% or less.
My first goal is to put on the 20+ pounds of muscle I lost in the last few years.
Once I reach that goal, I'll chart the next one... perhaps another 20 pounds of muscle (naturally of course).
