When I Started:
May, 2004
How I Started:
I got tired of being the skinny small guy of all my friends. I made myself a promise that when I finished school I would start working out. I did it off and on for a while and started to see some progress. Now I am working hard to make my goal.
Why I Love It:
Working out for me is a great stress reliever and a way to stay healthy. I decided to take it out on the weights and not on other people.
How I Stay Motivated:
I talk to regular people here and get inspired from the hard work they have put into their bodies to stay healthy, loose weight and gain muscle mass. My buddies Spike06-Bigmuscle1-Watercus-RafMorris37, fellas thanks so much for all the help.
BB Accomplishments:
Haven't done any yet. I have a competition in the next 22 weeks here in the city that I plan on competing in for the first time. So I will take all of the encouragement I can get for my first time out.

This was the beginning of the transformation.
Starting the ab work process. This is two weeks of work.
June 12 & 13, those are my dates to be ready for my first Bodybuilding Competition. Target goal is to be 200lbs solid with 5% body fat.
Goal (Long):
I want the option to compete in the 40-49 Class. This is a goal I have had since I was a teenager and have yet to accomplish it. Hopefully with hard work and much prayer it will happen this summer.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
All of my brothers played football and I have always been the skinny musician. I had a car accident that put me in therapy and I started working out there. Now that I'm really back to my old self, I want to compete in the Masters Division. All of my brothers played football and I have always been the skinny musician. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Do something every day...walk, run, pick up the weights. I also talk to other bodybuilders that are looking to compete for the fist time and get motivation from them as well.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Garret Downing and Dexter Jackson, we are all the same height and looking at them gives me a perspective of how big I can get.
Ok this is the post that is going to set my wheels turning hard. Next year I want to compete in the 40 - 49 Masters Class. Currently I stand 5'6 185pounds 44chest 33 or 34 waist. My goal is to be 205 - 215pounds 58chest 31 or 32 waist and 24arms. Fellas I need help reaching my goal. As a bro...
Flex your back in between sets hard!!!
Australian chin ups, bent over rows. Alternate with a straight/chambered bar9-15 reps heavy as hell! W/o sacrificing form. Wide grip chins with weight(if possible). I started with German Volume Training. Back blew up quick boss. Try that.
Stop Lyin Bro you know your build is TIGHT! :o) - About the Beach - I'm getting ready to role down there now - a friend's mother from my military days sent me some kinda blanket thing ...Um gonna wrap myself in it like a towel and do some new images - She'll get kick out of that %$#@!
Somehow I have no doubt you get plenty of play time... Heh heh I Have long arms and legs my metabolism is constantly burning - I struggle with my arms - Now if I had a body like yours, I would be complete and maybe I could get some play consistently - HA!
good luck with the leg workout. I do legs every Monday because I hate em so much. I start the week doing what I despise so I can get it over with. Post some progress pictures so we can see your journey . . .
Glad to hear from you again! The holidays were good. It's time to buckle down. I'm gonna do my best to shed the fat. Can't wait to see your results. Stay focused :)
