My Dad and older brother always lifted weights, so its kind of a family tradition passed on to me.
Why I Love It:
Its my addiction...I just HAVE to do it!
How I Stay Motivated:
As I was approaching my mid-30s, I watched my friends begin to develop beer-bellies, and make excuses. I was determined not let that happen to me, and I wanted to get into the best shape of my life!
I get into and remain in the best shape possible without the use of illegal substances.
My next personal challenge will begin in April of '09. My challenge will be to get down to 5% bodyfat by June '09.
Until then, I want to hold steady between 6.5% - 8% bodyfat for the winter months.
Thanks. After a decade coaching I hope I got SOME credibility. You got TONS potential, and seem a man who cherishes individuality and accuracy. That's why I'd like the chance to offer, say, 45 minutes of perspective. I've helped a lot of athletes start, and I can tell you'd gain much. Do more than "keep it in mind"...as with your goals before, make it active. What doesn't end up working you need not continue. Give it a shot; you've nothing to lose by looking into some guidance...
Well, I would be very open to helping with the education. Let me know if you want to set up a consultation . . . It all starts with a bit of learning. Let me know!
Amazing work! I got to ask: have you ever thought of looking into the added benefits of becoming competitive? I could see it really fitting in with your work. And you are definitely right there . . . .
